Australia-based data center provider GreenSquareDC was sold to Switzerland based Partners Group in March 2025 for $756M to convert the company into a next-generation data center platform.

Australia-based mining software provider Micromine was acquired by The Weir Group, which is headquartered in United Kingdom, in February 2025 for $824.5M to enable smart, efficient and sustainable mining activities.

In March, patient management provider Medtech Global Limited, which is headquartered in New Zealand, was acquired by the Private Equity company Banyan Software for an undisclosed value to strengthen support for medical practices.

In January, Australian payments solutions provider Australian Settlements Limited secured a growth investment by Luxembourg banking services provider Banking Circle for an undisclosed value to build a global hub for real-time and settlement for all major currencies and accelerate its push into Australia.

In January, data backup, recovery and protection software company Dropsuite Limited, which is based in Australia, was acquired by the remote monitoring and management software provider NinjaOne for $262M at 9.3 times revenue. This acquisition will help IT and MSP organizations protect against the impact of catastrophic events such as ransomware attacks.
