Australia represented the home of 40% of buyers and New Zealand represented an additional 3%. Outside of the ANZ region, the US was home to 29% of acquirers followed by the United Kingdom at 8%, and Canada at 5%. Overall, dealmaking remained highly international as 62% of acquisitions were cross-border deals. 

Australia saw the largest volume of sellers headquartered in the country at 86%, followed by New Zealand at 14%.
