Australia representing 37% of buyers and New Zealand represented an additional 3%. Outside of the ANZ region, the US was the headquarters of 29% of acquirers followed by United Kingdom at 9% and Canada at 4%. Overall, 64% of acquisitions were cross-border transactions as dealmaking remained highly international.
